This exhibition provides visitors with special experience. Matt’s Gallery occupy not a very big space. Artist and curator made this exhibition divides the space into many irregular parts by wooden frames and panels, and all the works were hung separately due to the different spaces. That makes the way of showing the works becomes a very interesting part of the exhibition as well.

Ian McKeever exhibited a selection of works in Matt’s Gallery during February and March 2017. The exhibition shows two recent series of his works, Eagduru and Against Architecture, which combine paintings and photographs together. Ian McKeever's works have clear expressions. Some real architectural elements such as windows, doors and tables can be found in his works. Due to the way of use light and technique of photography, he makes the works look more mysterious. Under the shelter of the panels in the exhibition, the paintings which is painted unadorned but decorated with some bright colour could make people feel kind of quiet.

The exhibition mode coincides with the theme of works. Besides, it breaks the routine and makes it interesting. Sometimes, the space separated by frames and panels looks like doors and windows, and visitors feel in a quite maze. I really like this kind of design that makes the viewer interact with the work. It is a good experience for the viewer to understand the work.
