At the end of January 2017, the “Intersections” exhibition was on at the Kaleidoscope Gallery in London. Eleven artists exhibited their works during the exhibition, and five of them were selected from other countries outside of the UK. With no limited specific themes, the exhibition shows works of different artists from different countries, and the viewer can see different perspectives and expressions, the common and different, and the interaction of each other.

Intersections

During the PV night, all the exhibitors made an event of artists talk, introduced their background and works, and discussed some questions with the audience. For artists, this is a good way to communicate and get feedbacks. For the audience, this is an opportunity to help understand the works and artists from different countries.

The work I have exhibited is called" One or Another". Being always focus on the theme of space and human feelings, this work is particularly talking about my special feelings after coming to London.

It is a good experience to understand the entire process of running in an exhibition, apply, transport, curator, and public socialisation. Also know more about the operation process of how do the art works show in the public gallery from the art studio.

As an important reason of choose to study and live in London, I would like to know more about the international contemporary art environment and development, so every time I have the opportunity to participate in the exhibition in London, I attach great importance. Fortunately, I participated in the curator with several artists, after understanding the various works of the show, we decided to give up a common way of exhibits all the works in a line view, and we thought it would be more interesting to make the exhibition has a more varied changes, works will also produce a richer exchange and influence between.
